Remember your school days and the much-awaited recess break? The break was a time to trade gossip, play and make merry with friends without worrying about getting called out by any teacher.
But did you ever think about spending your recess break with the school principal? Probably not because your school principal wasn’t as cool as the one at the Xi Guan Primary School in China.
Children at the school were recently in for a treat when their principal decided to get them to exercise by matching steps on a fun song and dance routine.
A video of the principal leading a shuffle dance in China’s Shanxi province has gone viral on social media. (For the uninitiated, shaffle dance consists of jazz dance steps with a mixture of contemporary style.)
The principal is seen leading a synchronised steps dance routine and holdiong a mike, which he uses to cheer on his students.
The principal believes the dances moves will help the students, who spend most of their time in front of computers and phones, stay fit and healthy.
